Emergency Sale
Scroll down to get to the stuff for sale.

If you've never been to atomicpanda.com before, my name is Eddie. I'm an artist and writer, though a bit slow at both. This page was created because I lost my Real Job last month and have not been able to find a new one yet.

My finacial situation is getting pretty desperate. It's to the point where if I don't find a new job by the end of next month I'll be evicted from my apartment.

So, I'm trying to make as much as I can while I look for work by selling what passes for my collection of collectable stuff. I hate to part with any of it but I think I'd hate to part with a roof over my head more.

If there's nothing here you'd like, please, spread the word about my sale and situation. Thanks!

Basically, this is first come first serve. If there is something you want, email me at atomicpanda@gmail.com and let me know. First email I get for an item gets first dibs on buying the item.

I prefer PayPal payments even though they take a cut because I need the money quickly to pay my bills.

Shipping will be an extra amount determined by the Post Office. I will only charge you exactly what the Post Office charges me for postage.

If you just want to donate a couple dollars to help me out I won't say no. Though, don't be surprised if I send you a drawing or something to thank you. ^_^

By the way, if anyone knows of any jobs in the Chico, CA or Portland, OR areas, especially if they're full time and especially especially if they're creative art-ish jobs, please, let me know!

Hey, make me an offer. I'm willing to deal!

NYX #3
This is the first appearance of Wolverine's clone/daughter/something X-23! I keep seeing these sell for over $50 on eBay. Maybe I should list it there...
Anyway, as a recovering comic collector I would easily rate this as mint. I don't see any flaws that would lower it. No bends, no fold, no tears, barely even ever opened before it was bagged and boarded. Heck, the trim edge is so new and untouched that the tiny pieces of trimmed paper haven't even all been brushed off. But, to be safe I'll go ahead and call it near mint.

This is the original Japanese, hardcover edition of a Laputa The Castle in the Sky childrens book. The English version was part of the Tokuma's Magical Adventures Series. Not sure if it was called this in Japan or not. Published 1990, now 20 years old.
Really hate to part with this. It's my favoite Studio Ghibli film and with this gone and my VCR long broken I'll have no Laputa left. Sold my English version of this book for $50 a couple months ago.
This book is almost brand new. The book itself is in excellent condition. The dustjacket has a little bit of wear, mostly at the top. Book even still has the yellow ad band wrapped around it (yellow strip of text at the bottom).

The full run of the comic series Midori Days by Kazurou Inoue published by Viz Media.
A very cute and popular series. Here's the text from the back of issue one:
The premise for this romantic manga comedy is sweet, hilarious, and just a little bit bizarre!
Seiji Sawamura is the toughest seventeen-year-old in town, feared by all for his fighting prowess and his deadly "devil's right hand." But at heart, Seiji is a softy and all he wants is an end to his seventeen-year history of being a lonely single guy. Unfortunately his tough guy reputation only serves to decrease his popularity with the ladies.
Then one day, Seiji wakes up to discover his "devil's right hand" has turned into...a miniature gal named Midori! Strangely enough, Midori is actually a real girl who is just as surprised as Seiji to find out she has now become-literally-Seiji's right hand! It turns out Midori has always had a crush on Seiji, and her desperate wish to be connected to him has somehow come true...maybe all too true!
All volumes are in great like new shape. Cover price for each would put this set at $80

Large art print (roughly 10 x 14 inches) featuring Quamzin Kravshera and Moruk Lap Lamiz during thier final attack on the SDF-1 Macross from the anime series Macross (AKA Kyron and Azonia from Robotech).
Print is autographed in gold ink (though it looks dark in the photo) by Macross character designer Haruhiko Mikimoto.
This print comes from a large Macross print collection. Every year I'd go to the nearest anime convention (I don't remember if if was Anime Expo or Anime America) and get Haruhiko Mikimoto to sign a couple more of the the prints. Wound up with all but three prints signed. I hate to break up the set but I don't really have much choice at the moment.
The print is in perfect shape. Has only been out of the folder it came in a couple of times since it was autographed.

Generation X "1/2"
I can't find much of any information on this item. Not sure if it's worth anything. Some sites refer to it as Generation X 1/2 so that's what I'm going with.
This is a promotional comic from 1994 for the Marvel Comics series Generation X. It is an actual comic, though short, by Scott Lobdell, Chris Bachalo and Mark Buckingham. The art is very nice.
If it matters, I believe this promo comic came out before the first issue of the series which means this is the first appearance of the characters Chamber, Penance and Mondo.
I'd say probably mint or near mint condition.

$4.00
Large art print (roughly 10 x 14 inches) featuring Shammy Milliome from the anime series Macross (also known as Sammy Porter in Robotech).

Hardcover edition of Arkham Asylum I had signed by Grant Morrison at a comic shop called Flying Colors in Concord, CA way back in the very early 90's.
Book has been kept bagged and boarded ever since so it looks brand new. Heck, it hasn't even been read since I had another copy for reading.
I assume the book is first printing as it doesn't say what printing it is. Autograph is a couple pages in in metalic ink. He drew a bat symbol along with it.

$65.00
Ink and color pencil drawing by me of a character called Black Rock Shooter. 8.5 x 11 inches.

$10.00
One of a kind animation cel from the series Bubblegum Crisis. Cel has a nice side head shot of the character Priss. What is extra nice is that the cel comes with the original hand drawn color guide attached to the back.
The color guid drawing is folded at one corner but other than that it's in great shape. The cel is also in great shape. There are refections on it in the photo so it's kinda hard to tell but it is nice and flat. No folds or bends. Only drawback is that the studio stapled the color guide to the cel.

$45.00 or make me an offer
One of a kind animation cel showing Lisa from the last episode of Bubblegum Crisis.
The cel is in great shape. It is in a plastic sleeve and the stickers and two tape marks are on the sleeve and not the cel. I probably should have taken the cel out of the sleeve for the photo...
Paid $25 for it way back when. Would be nice to at least get that back but...

$20.00 or make me an offer
Autograph of Yoshiyuki Tomino the creator of Gundam. I got this autograph back in 1992. July 4th, actually. Measures about 8 x 7 inches on a very nice, gold trimmed autograph card. One corner is slightly bent.

$80.00
Just in time for the new Alice in Wonderland movie, here's Hello Kitty dressed as Alice, Dear Daniel as the Mad Hatter and a little bunny friend as the White Rabbit.
The photo doesn't do a good job of showing how big the set is. It's about a foot across and Kitty herself is a bit over six inches tall.
It's a little dusty but otherwise in great shape. The dolls have never been removed from the package.

$15.00
Didn't even know I had this. Found it while looking for stuff to part with. It's the events guild from Comic Con International 1999 and it's in amazing condition. Might as well have been from last Comic Con and not from the year before the world ended.
Might be fun to see what was going on in comics last millennium. Oh, excuse me, if I remember right, make that the Willennium.

$4.00
Ninja High School limited edition portfolio from back in '94. This one is #505 of 100. The six prints inside are very nice on thick, glossy paper. A very nice item for any NHS or Ben Dunn fans, if there are any.

$8.00
This is a color pencil work by artist Diana Sprinkle. 9x12 inches.
I think it's of a certain comic book character but I'm not sure which. In any event, it's very nicely done.

$18.00
Original, color Dog Supreme art by artist Ben Dunn. 11 x 14 inches.

$20.00 or make me an offer
A painting I did awhile back.
Acrylic paint on canvas board. 8x10 inches.

Signed with a little Usagi sketch inside the front cover.

$8.00 SOLD
Very nice, leather-bound, hard cover collection of Frank Miller Batman material.
First printing. In just about perfect, brand new condition. Don't know the original cover price but it seems from an internet search that first prinitings in this good of condition sell in the $80 to $90 range. I'll part with mine for $55. Maybe you can resell it for a profit or something.

$55.00 SOLD
Very sad to be selling this. It was a Christmas present from my mom years and years ago. Too bad I can't charge more for the memories. But, since I get to keep those, I guess it wouldn't be fair.
First printing, in brand new condition and signed and numbered with a sketch by Stan Sakai. Number 290 of 1,000. $34.95 cover price before the signing and stuff.

Please, treat it nice.

$55.00 SOLD

A few dints and dings. No tears and just the one fold.

Here's the first issue of a series released by Tokyo Pop that was interesting for it's nice art and completely ridiculous, totally made up and often down right bizarre "translation." It's like they gave the pages with blank balloons to some one and just said, "Just make some crap up. No one will care."
Buy it for the art.
First printing and brand new condition. $9.99 cover price.

Here's the second issue of a series released by Tokyo Pop that was interesting for it's nice art and completely ridiculous, totally made up and often down right bizarre "translation." Ninja High School shirt from 1992.
This shirt is signed by Ben Dunn and has never been worn (thank god). It's size XL and still in its original bag. Colors and marker have bled a bit over the years.
If I remember right, this was a test printing by Eternity Comics and very few were made. Not totally sure on this though.
Selling it for $8. C'mon, you almost can't get any t-shirt for eight bucks even without an autograph on it.

$8.00 SOLD
Apparently, Ginrei from the anime Giant Robo (which is freaking awesome) had her own animated one-shot. I never saw it but I got the book. Lots of nice Ginrei art.
Some wear on the corners. But, over all, in great shape.

$10.00 SOLD
This is a book I picked up a couple of San Diego Comic Cons ago. It's a fairly slim hardcover book featuring the art of Humberto Ramos. His takes on classic fairytale characters are very nice and a lot of fun.
The book is signed by the artist on the cover.
The book is first printing and in brand new condition.

$25.00 SOLD
This is a wonderful and huge graphic novel by Craig Thompson. Hate to part with it but, I guess, I can buy a new copy someday when things aren't tight.
The book is in great, heck, brand new condition.

This is an English, hardcover edition of a My Neighbor Totoro childrens book. It's part of the Tokuma's Magical Adventures Series. Published 1992. Pretty sure it's first printing.
Apparently, these books are very rare? I've seen them for sale for as much as $200.
This book is brand new. It was put in a box eighteen years ago, unread and never touched since. Looks like it just came off the press. So, if they really do sell for $200, take advantage of my finacial problems, buy it from me and sell it for a profit.

Better picture of it can be found here.

Savage Dragon poster signed by Eric Larson. Good shape. Only folds are the orginal folds.

SOLD
Here's probably a rare one for Strangers in Paradise / Terry Moore fans. Yup, Stangers in Paradise was published for the first few issues by Antarctic Press and this was a promotional poster they made for the series, probably the very first promo poster for the series. I don't imagine there are a whole lot of these floating around out there.
Autographed at the bottom by Terry Moore. It's in great shape, only the original folds.

SOLD
Sandman Preludes & Nocturnes graphic novel.
In great shape. Would be brand new if the paper hadn't started yellowing a bit from age. Kind of surprised by that since it's been bagged since I read it way back when.
Forth printing if that matters at all.
Cover price was $14.95 (this was a long time ago)...

SOLD
Hello Kitty ceramic salt and pepper shakers. Almost the cutest things ever.
What? I have a weakness for cute stuff.
These have never been used and as far as I can tell have only ever been out of the box once to take that picture over there.

SOLD
Autograph of anime character designer, illustrator and comic artist Haruhiko Mikimoto. He's probably most famous for his work on the various Macross series (Robotech to some people). I got this autograph back in July of 1992. Measures about 8 x 7 inches on a very nice, gold trimmed autograph card.

SOLD
Magic The Gathering cards
Back in the very early 90's I thought it would be fun to play Magic. So I bought a case of Unlimiteds. I think I played one game and then the cards were boxed up and never used again. All are basically mint condition.
Prices accoding to online price guides, this collection contains the following:
$20 cards: Fork, Shivan Dragon, Vesuvan Doppelganger $17.50 cards: Bayou, Taiga, Tropical Island, Volcanic Island $16 cards: Scrubland $15 cards: Royal Assassin $12.50 cards: Demonic Hordes $10 cards: Nevinyrral’s Disk $8 cards: Birds of Paradise, Crusade, Northern Paladin $7.50 cards: Jayemdae Tome, Serra Angel $7 cards: Sol Ring x2 $6 cards: Clone, Demonic Tutor, Fungusaur, Will-O’-The-Wisp $5 cards: Ankh of Mishra x2, Blessing, Demonic Attorney, Earthquake, Mana Short, Mana Vault, Regrowth, Sengir Vampire, Volcanic Eruption, Zombie Master $4 cards: Darkpact, Drain Power, Helm of Chatzuk, Kormus Bell, Kudzu $3 cards: Black Vise, Chaoslace, Deathlace, White Knight $2.50 cards: Counterspell, Dragon Whelp, Living Wall x2, Swords to Plowshares $2 cards: Basalt Monolith x2, Control Magic, Icatian Skirmishers x1(Fallen Empires), Keldon Warlord, Resurrection x2 $1.50 card:Thicket Basilisk 83 cards listed as being worth $1 each but I'm not going to take the time to list them all, an unknown number of cards (my guess is around 600 ) listed as being worth 10 cents to 90 cents each and a starter deck that was given out at Comic Con a couple years ago.
If price guides are to be believed, this collection of cards is worth around $400 to $600. But, the prices fluctuate, often wildly, from guide to guide and I'm more concerned with paying my bills than I am in getting top dollar for these cards.
So, I'm pricing the whole set at $200.

SOLD
Large (roughly 10 x 14 inches), beautiful, art nouveau inspired art print featuring many female characters from the anime Macross (later edited and dubbed into English to become the series Robotech.
The characters are Lynn Minmay, Misa Hayase (Robotech: Lisa Hayes), [These links are taking too long. Sorry, you can look up the characters yourselves ^_^; ] Claudia LaSalle (Robotech: Claudia Grant), Milia Fallyna Jenius (Robotech: Miriya Parina Sterling), her daughter Komilia Maria Jenius (Robotech: Dana Sterling), Kim Kabirov (Robotech: Kim Young), Vanessa Laird (Robotech: Vanessa Leeds) and Shammy Milliome (Robotech: Sammy Porter).

Limited edition Zetraman badge from the Ninja High School comic series. This one is #49 of 175. Never been out of the package. Art sheet inside is autographed by series creator and artist Ben Dunn.

$8.00 SOLD
An amazingly detailed piece by artist Robert DeJesus. Ink on 8.5 x 11 inch, thick paper. I had Robert draw this for me way back in 1992. The drawing is of Princess Asrial and Dog Supreme from the comic Ninja High School. Yeah, I liked it back then. Anyway, nearly two decades ago, back when fans actually wrote to comic companies on real paper, there was a character popularity poll in the issues of NHS. For some god knows reason, I liked Dog Supreme and helped get him up to number 2. But, there was no beating Asrial. Even though I haven't cared about these characters in a very, very long time I hate to part with this. Ah well, can't be helped.
