Emergency Sale
Scroll down to get to the stuff for sale.

If you've never been to atomicpanda.com before, my name is Eddie. I'm an artist and writer, though a bit slow at both. This page was created because I lost my job over a year ago and have not been able to find work since.

I've managed to just scrape by on my unemployment benefits and selling my possessions. But, every month I come up a bit shorter than the month before. It's finally come to the point that I could not make rent for November. My landlord has been understanding, but at this time, if I can't make November's rent by the end of November it has been made quite clear to me that I will be homeless. Even if I can manage to make rent by the end of Nov. That still leaves me with nothing going into December and the whole mess starts over again.

Needless to say, being in this situation and out of work is pretty disastrous and I'm in desperate need of some income until I can find a new job.

So, I'm trying to make as much as I can while I look for work by selling what's left of my collection of collectible stuff. I hate to part with any of it but I think I'd hate to part with a roof over my head more.

If there's nothing here you'd like, please, spread the word about my sale and situation. Thanks!

Basically, this is first come first serve. If there is something you want, email me at atomicpanda@gmail.com and let me know. First email I get for an item gets first dibs on buying the item.

I prefer PayPal payments even though they take a cut because I need the money quickly to pay my bills.

Shipping will be an extra amount determined by the Post Office. I will only charge you exactly what the Post Office charges me for postage.

If you just want to donate a couple dollars to help me out I won't say no. Though, don't be surprised if I send you a drawing or something to thank you. ^_^

By the way, if anyone knows of any jobs in the Chico, CA or Portland, OR areas, especially if they're full time and especially especially if they're creative art-ish jobs, please, let me know!

Hey, make me an offer. I'm willing to deal!

Autographs and autographed items [Back to top]

The Sandman: Brief Lives #9
This is a copy of issue #9 of the Sandman series Brief Lives. It is in great shape, basically brand new since it's been bagged and boarded all these years. The comic is signed by artist Jill Thompson in gold ink. She even added gold highlights to the eyes at the top of the cover.

$15

Autograph of Yoshiyuki Tomino the creator of Gundam. I got this autograph back in 1992. July 4th, actually. Measures about 8 x 7 inches on a very nice, gold trimmed autograph card. One corner is slightly bent.

$70.00

Autographed photos of the whole main first season cast of Star Trek Voyager.
Bought these way back when the series had just started and I still had hopes for it being good.
Contains autographs from: Kate Mulgrew (Capt Janeway), Robert Beltran (Chakotay), Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres), Robert Duncan McNeill (Tom Paris), Ethan Phillips (Neelix), Robert Picardo (The Doctor), Tim Russ (Tuvok) Garrett Wang (Harry Kim), and Jennifer Lien (Kes).
The Kate Mulgrew one comes matted. All are in great shape. Not bad at less than $10 each.

Comic is in perfect shape and has been kept bagged and boarded ever since it was signed.

Original art and animation cels [Back to top]

One of a kind animation cel from the series Bubblegum Crisis. Cel has a nice side head shot of the character Priss. What is extra nice is that the cel comes with the original hand drawn color guide attached to the back.
The color guid drawing is folded at one corner but other than that it's in great shape. The cel is also in great shape. There are reflections on it in the photo so it's kinda hard to tell but it is nice and flat. No folds or bends. Only drawback is that the studio stapled the color guide to the cel.

$40.00 or make me an offer

One of a kind animation cel showing Lisa from the last episode of Bubblegum Crisis.
The cel is in great shape. It is in a plastic sleeve and the stickers and two tape marks are on the sleeve and not the cel. The the other marks are on my art table under the cel, not on the cel or sleeve. I probably should have taken the cel out of the sleeve for the photo...
Paid $25 for it way back when. Would be nice to at least get that back but...

Art books [Back to top]

This is the original Japanese, hardcover edition of a Laputa The Castle in the Sky children's book. The English version was part of the Tokuma's Magical Adventures Series. Not sure if it was called this in Japan or not. Published 1990, now 20 years old.
Really hate to part with this. It's my favorite Studio Ghibli film and with this gone and my VCR long broken I'll have no Laputa left. Sold my English version of this book for $50 a couple months ago.
This book is almost brand new. The book itself is in excellent condition. The dust jacket has a little bit of wear, mostly at the top. Book even still has the yellow ad band wrapped around it (yellow strip of text at the bottom).

$50

Art prints and portfolios [Back to top]

Ninja High School limited edition portfolio from back in '94. This one is #505 of 100. The six prints inside are very nice on thick, glossy paper. A very nice item for any NHS or Ben Dunn fans, if there are any.

$5.00

Comics, graphic novels and manga [Back to top]

NYX #3
This is the first appearance of Wolverine's clone/daughter/something X-23! I keep seeing these sell for over $50 on eBay. Maybe I should list it there...
Anyway, as a recovering comic collector I would easily rate this as mint. I don't see any flaws that would lower it. No bends, no fold, no tears, barely even ever opened before it was bagged and boarded. Heck, the trim edge is so new and untouched that the tiny pieces of trimmed paper haven't even all been brushed off. But, to be safe I'll go ahead and call it near mint.

Generation X "1/2"
I can't find much of any information on this item. Not sure if it's worth anything. Some sites refer to it as Generation X 1/2 so that's what I'm going with.
This is a promotional comic from 1994 for the Marvel Comics series Generation X. It is an actual comic, though short, by Scott Lobdell, Chris Bachalo and Mark Buckingham. The art is very nice.
If it matters, I believe this promo comic came out before the first issue of the series which means this is the first appearance of the characters Chamber, Penance and Mondo.
I'd say probably mint or near mint condition.

$2.00

Kedamono Demono #1 by Haruka Fukushima.
Sort of hard to explain. Sort of a gender bending romantic comedy. Nice art. You can read the Amazon.com description here
Great shape. Read once. Cover price is $9.99.

Everything else [Back to top]

Didn't even know I had this. Found it while looking for stuff to part with. It's the events guild from Comic Con International 1999 and it's in amazing condition. Might as well have been from last Comic Con and not from the year before the world ended.
Might be fun to see what was going on in comics last millennium. Oh, excuse me, if I remember right, make that the Willennium.

Lots more coming! Keep stopping by. More stuff will be going up daily until I get a job and can pay my rent or run out of stuff. Thanks for stopping by!
